Lyndhurst Dyslexia Centre focuses on allowing children time and space outside the classroom environment where they can further their learning in concentrated, pupil-led situations.
At Lyndhurst’s own radio station, Grove FM, children create films, comics and sound pieces that express their views, opinions and sentiments. They also explore new technologies and techniques which help to support them in their wider learning. The radio helps them evidence their learning and express their feelings without the potential barriers that writing may present.
We use technical equipment in a process led way to produce high quality work. Their self-esteem is boosted and collaboration is an important aspect in creating sensitive, expressive work.
